Han® M Plus: Robust housing for extreme requirements
Ideal for applications in transportation, the maritime environment or mining
(PresseBox) - HARTING has developed additional protection for Han® connectors. The proven Han® M housing receives an additional outer skin made of polyurethane (PU) in a special procedure. This provides the connector with reliable protection against extreme mechanical and chemical influences.
It is an efficient alternative to complex special solutions for the customer.
The outstanding toughness of the material of the polyurethane coating provides durable protection against extreme influences such as stone impact, icing, salt spray, UV radiation, industrial pollutants, oils or fuels. The coating also replaces the seal between the two housing halves as well as at the flange of the piggyback housing. That simplifies assembly and optimizes the assembly time. Besides transportation and the maritime environment, mining and the petrochemical industry represent additional application areas.
