6th World Ayurveda Congress: VedaPulse(TM) Device Developed in Russia Measured Six Levels of the Pulse Out of Seven
(firmenpresse) - NOVOSIBIRSK, RUSSIAN FEDERATION -- (Marketwired) -- 11/20/14 -- 6th World Ayurveda Congress took place in New Delhi, India on November 6-9.
Biokvant Ltd. from Russia (Novosibirsk) introduced their VedaPulse™ Digital Pulse Analysis Device.
Demonstration of the Russian device was a big surprise for the representatives of authentic Indian medicine called Ayurveda, who gathered at the Congress. There was a special intrigue, when the leading developer of VedaPulse™ Digital Pulse Analysis Dr. Oleg Sorokin mentioned that the device can measure six levels of the pulse out of seven. There was a big line of experts who wanted to verify that. During the Congress around 100 Ayurvedic doctors, masters of pulse analysis participated in the experiment. They were offered to check their pulse by palpation and then do a test on the VedaPulse™ device, and then compare results.
There was evaluation of Maha Dosha balance at Vikruti level, Subdosha balance, MahaBhuta balance, Agni Dhatu, organ pulse (functional state of organs and their involvement in pathologic process in relation to pathogenesis - Samprampti), Chakra energies, Ojas level and stress indexes. Agreement of results was about 90-100%. It is a very high number, as results of subjective and objective analysis were being compared.
Indian people were especially impressed by the algorithm of the Software that transformed heart rhythm into music piece. Indian people are a very musical nation and for specialists practicing traditional pulse diagnosis, music of the heart has sacral meaning.
During the Congress Dr. Oleg Sorokin had numerous meetings with representatives of different Indian Ayurveda Universities. At these meetings several agreements were made to start research programs with the use of VedaPulse™. Additionally, some agreements were made regarding joint educational programs for propagating authentic Ayurveda knowledge.
Minister of Health and Family Welfare of India, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, visited Biokvant Ltd. stall at Arogya Expo. Government of India pays great attention to revival and development of Ayurveda, that is why the Minister was pleased to know that VedaPulse™ was created on the basis of traditional Ayurvedic knowledge.
Visit of Russian delegation came true in many respects to a personal invitation of the Founder of Ayurvedic Institute and Advisor to National Ayurvedic Medical Association of the USA - Dr. Vasant Lad. Dr. Lad very seriously takes objectification and standardization of traditional knowledge of Ayurveda. He thinks that VedaPulse™ will play a big role in this process.
