Company Moves Into Renewable Energy Sector
(firmenpresse) - BOULDER, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/18/14 -- VENCOR INTERNATIONAL, INC. (PINKSHEETS: VCOR) announced today that the Company''s Board of Directors has chosen industry expert, James Gaspard to lead the Company''s torrefied pellet business.
Vencor International is now in the business of providing torrefied wood pellets to customers around the world. Torrefied wood pellets are made from timber field waste using a process called torrefaction. Torrefied wood pellets are a renewable energy source that can replace traditional coal.
Newly appointed CEO, James Gaspard stated, "This is a natural fit for me personally. My background in converting timber waste into a high quality charcoal-like material provides me with the necessary knowledge to grow Vencor into a large player in the torrefied pellet business. We will have details about current orders and production as we move ahead."
The Company recently announced that it has cleared over six million dollars of debt from its balance sheet and has re-branded the Company''s corporate identity that includes a new logo, website, and various other collateral materials.
