Company to Also Highlight State of the Art Podiatry Digital X-Ray With Enhanced Software Capabilities
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 11/17/14 -- 20/20 Imaging, a leader in small market imaging with nearly 4,500 installations across the country, announced today their product line-up for RSNA 2014 which is led by the new iRay wireless panel. The 14 x 17 wireless panel rounds out the company''s offering for the chiropractic market, while also providing an ideal addition for increased flexibility in imaging for other specialty markets. Also heading the RSNA lineup for 20/20 Imaging this year is their 510(k) pending, completely integrated podiatry digital x-ray system.
Designed as a complement to the company''s existing chiropractic offerings, the iRay wireless panel brings greater flexibility to x-ray rooms with its ability to be used in the existing table, or for table-top exams. While the majority of chiropractic imaging is of the spine, there remains the approximately 20 percent of imaging for associated exams such as for extremities. Because the iRay wireless panel is designed for use with the existing software platform, implementation and training is simplified. For the patient, the speed of image acquisition helps assures comfort and quick exam times. The new iRay panel is expected to be ideal not only for chiropractic offices, but for veterinary hospitals as well. Also being highlighted at RSNA is the new PXS-710D high-frequency digital x-ray system. Best suited for the podiatry market, the system offers the potential for lower dose with advanced imaging capabilities that enable lower technique for lower radiation to be used. The system is anatomically programmed which saves time, assures accuracy, and further enhances efficiency by enabling technique settings to be selected at the acquire workstation rather than the x-ray control.
