Precision Medical Products Inc. (PMP) Hires Greg Haas as New Director of Engineering
(firmenpresse) - DENVER, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/13/14 -- (PMP) has hired Greg Haas as new Director of Engineering. Greg Haas, Director of Engineering, will have the responsibility for all engineering development activities with both existing and new customers for the Company.
With more than 20 years in the medical device industry, Mr. Haas has the unique experience of leading medical device development in both the corporate environment and the start-up world. He began his career as a Project Engineer for Arrow International (acquired by Teleflex (TFX) in 2007) developing products and processes for catheter access systems and surface modification technologies. During his seventeen-year tenure he was promoted to several global senior management positions including Vice President, Critical Care R&D. In 2008, Mr. Haas launched an independent consulting practice. A key focus of his consulting work was to engage with small medical device start-up companies to bridge the gap between lab prototypes and a final release for commercialization.
Mr. Haas holds a Master of Science in the Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a cardiovascular concentration from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
