Starting and running a business in the Town of Beausejour and Rural Municipality of Brokenhead just became easier thanks to BizPaL, an online business permit and licence service that saves time on paperwork and helps entrepreneurs start up faster.

James Bezan, Member of Parliament for Selkirk-Interlake, on behalf of Maxime Bernier, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism) (Agriculture); Peter Bjornson, Manitoba Minister of Education and Advanced Learning, on behalf of Kevin Chief, Manitoba Minister of Jobs and the Economy; Brad Saluk, Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead; and Ed Dubray, Mayor of the Town of Beausejour, announced the implementation of BizPaL in the Town of Beausejour and Rural Municipality of Brokenhead. This free online application is a directory of the permits and licences required to start or run a business. BizPaL saves business people time searching for information and, as a result, helps them meet their obligations more easily.
