REMINDER/Media Advisory: Facing Tough Bargaining and an Upcoming Federal Election, Professional Institute Holds 95th Annual General Meeting
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/07/14 -- As it begins contract negotiations with the federal government for most of its 55,000 members, the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) will hold its 95th Annual General Meeting in downtown Ottawa starting this Friday.
Hundreds of delegates from across the country will prepare the Institute for a collective bargaining process that is now - due to legislative changes introduced by the Conservative government - much more likely to lead to some form of job action.
The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada represents some 55,000 professionals and scientists across Canada''s public sector.
