National Conference on Financial Literacy Focuses on Collaboration and Unveils New Canadian Financial Literacy Database #FinLitConf
Unique event brings together stakeholders to share best practices

Representatives from grass-roots groups, government and non-profit organization leaders, private-sector stakeholders and academia are gathering today and tomorrow in Vancouver to share best practices and success stories in boosting financial literacy, methods to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, and findings of the latest research in the field.
A unique combination of presentation, collaboration and consultation, the 2014 National Conference on Financial Literacy brings together leaders in financial literacy from across Canada and around the world to share research and ideas around the theme "strengthening financial literacy through collaboration."
During the conference, the Government of Canada will unveil:
Roundtable discussions will also allow participants to voice their ideas about how best to reach and engage Canadians. This input will be used by the Financial Literacy Leader in shaping the development of a national strategy for financial literacy, which will be revealed in 2015.
