Government of Canada supports the Cannington Dog Sled Races and Winter Festival

(firmenpresse) - CANNINGTON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/04/14 -- Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $14,500 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 11th edition of the Cannington Dog Sled Races and Winter Festival. The Festival, which includes heritage displays and local musical and dance performances, will take place in Cannington on January 24 and 25, 2015.

Barry Devolin, Member of Parliament (Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
