Southern ITS delivers proprietary innovative electronic security systems to highly regulated market sectors. Such installations include Gaming Properties, Medical Marijuana (MMJ) dispensaries and similar businesses with high compliance mandates. Our systems go beyond simple security and are designed to support our clients in dealing with the expanding burden of compliance and financial auditing.
We''ve spent 2 years establishing a solid foundational client base of technology infrastructures in the gaming, retail, and government sectors.
We are now expanding and diversifying into other fast growing market sectors. We have designed new systems and services for the Medical Marijuana Industry. Twenty three states have legalized the use of Medical Marijuana. Two of those states have also legalized the sale and use of Marijuana for recreational purposes.
This month we are launching three significant proprietary strategic initiatives created for the unique requirements of the Medical and Recreational Marijuana Industries. The First service is a novel innovative method for secure payment for Marijuana Dispensaries that will create a complete audit trail of each transaction. The resulting detailed records and documentation will facilitate banks acceptance of cash deposits from dispensaries. The Second service is a new Web Platform for the Cannabis Industry that will bring together its variety of suppliers, service providers, and professionals in a single forum. Finally, the Third Strategy is to initiate acquisition of certain targeted cannabis providers starting in this quarter.
