Skate Canada receives Government of Canada funding to host the 2014 Skate Canada International Grand Prix of Figure Skating

On behalf of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), the Honourable Ron Cannan, Member of Parliament (), today announced $45,000 in funding to Skate Canada. This funding, provided through Sport Canada''s Hosting Program, supports the hosting of the 2014 Skate Canada International Grand Prix of Figure Skating, being held at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia, from October 31 to November 2, 2014.
