The Popular Toronto Technology Meet-Up for Wearable Tech Enthusiasts Comes to Chicago on November 10

Launched in December 2013, We Are Wearables Toronto was created by wearable technology expert and enthusiast, , in an effort to bring awareness to the industry and the startups, entrepreneurs, investors, brands, developers and designers behind the expanding wearable technology space. The meet-up has quickly become a must-attend event for Canadian startups looking for a platform to share their innovations -- from fitness to fashion to health.

The Chicago meet-up will feature a behind the scenes look at the design story of the Moto 360 by Motorola''s Design Director, Dickon Issacs. A panel conversation with 1871, Motorola and Rithmio will focus on the challenges wearable tech faces in adoption, and the opportunity this technology has to change the way we communicate and manage our lives. Following the panel, Rithmio and Motorola will be in the demo area, along with Chicago companies Cubii and Gramovox, offering hands-on experiences with the technology and an opportunity to network with others in the wearable and Internet of Things space.
