Pitch for a Cure and AudioEye to Develop Mobile Application for Children and Families Dealing With Diabetes

(firmenpresse) - TUCSON, AZ and NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 10/27/14 -- AudioEye®, Inc. (OTCQB: AEYE) ("AudioEye") ("the Company"), creator of the Audio Internet® patented audio browsing and automated publishing technology platform, today announced that it is developing a consumer mobile application, along with its partners in the behavioral healthcare field, targeted towards families and individuals living with and managing diabetes. Diabetes cure advocacy group and community educator Pitch for a Cure (PFAC) has commenced working with AudioEye to develop cloud-based talking applications to aid diabetic patients and the families caring for them to optimize outcomes in their daily living. The website has also contracted for the adoption of AudioEye''s patented Audio Internet accessibility platform and will serve as the launch site for the forthcoming mobile application.

"Pitch for a Cure is supported by many celebrities such as Richard Gere, Henry Winkler, Hank Steinbrenner, Doc Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, Roberto Alomar, Eva Longoria, Sam Fuld, Elliot Scheiner and Dillon Gee, among others," stated Robert Dromerhauser, President of Pitch for a Cure. "These strong supporters are very excited about teaming up together and are amazed at how AudioEye''s technology can be used to expand the reach of PFAC and better educate the diabetic community."

"We know that AudioEye delivers accessibility, and with Pitch for a Cure we have identified another area where our technology can have a positive impact and a high level of adoption from service and healthcare providers," stated Nathaniel Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of AudioEye, Inc. "Pitch for the Cure is bringing our work in behavioral healthcare together with its distribution and focus on Type 1 diabetes, and our mobile application will represent an innovation that we are very excited about in this critically important market space."

Once activated, a simple click on an icon or tapping of the space bar converts a website page to accommodate such disabilities as blindness, partial vision loss, color perception deficiencies, deafness, partial loss of hearing, mobility or manual dexterity problems, cognitive conditions such as dyslexia, and other impaired senses. AudioEye provides tools unique to each impairment, creating an all-encompassing accessibility solution based on a single platform. The Audio Internet represents a powerful solution for Internet users with complete vision loss, those with low sight impairments, users that are hard of hearing or that are just learning to read. Accessibility enhancements to AudioEye''s technology platform are numerous and have the ability to allow users to control the level of quality of the audio, enlarge the cursor display, and highlight in real time, thereby vastly improving user retention, font size and other characteristics that influence the value of the Internet for those with disabilities.
