The BMI booth will highlight the BMI PrintStation, a next-generation case coding product of BMI''s exciting new partnership with Markem-Imaje, a global manufacturer of product identification and traceability solutions. Pairing BMI conveyors and Markem-Imaje''s new 1200 printer with HP thermal inkjet technology, this solution allows for accurate and reliable high-speed printing of high-resolution images and scannable bar codes directly on corrugated surfaces. BMI''s conveyors offer three options in presenting packages to each printer for unparalleled bar-code quality and consistent scannability. The combination of BMI''s product-handling technology and Markem-Imaje''s printing innovation offers customers a sought-after turnkey solution to printing higher-quality codes on corrugate. This solution is particularly effective in printing the denser and harder-to-print Code 128 and small font ingredients statements.
Booth visitors will witness the system at work and will be able to take home a sample printing.
BMI''s booth will also feature an automated case handling solution complete with a Fanuc Robotic Pick-and-Place, Thermal Ink Jet case coding, and Intralox ARB conveyor system, as well as several other automated robotic solutions.
