Canadian Delegates to Accompany Governor General to Poland, the Netherlands and Belgium
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/21/14 -- Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will be joined by a delegation on the occasion of a State visit to the Republic of Poland, from October 22 to 26, a visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands on October 26 and 27, and a visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, from October 27 to 29, 2014.
Parliamentarians and Canadian public-and private-sector leaders will enhance business, academic, cultural and people-to-people ties with their European counterparts. These exchanges will provide greater impetus to bilateral initiatives in various sectors, particularly in strategies promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and education. The delegates will attend the commemorative events in recognition of Canada''s efforts and sacrifices during the two world wars.
