Mobile and Web Development Agency 2Mobile/digital Launches the First Mobile Messenger That Alerts and Connects Drivers Without Revealing Personal Data
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY and BRASILIA, BRAZIL -- (Marketwired) -- 10/21/14 -- Mobile and Web Development Agency 2Mobile/digital announced the launch of DUD3, a cross-platform mobile messenger app that will allow users to exchange free messages with fellow drivers without having to know each other''s names, emails or phone numbers. All they need to know is each other''s license plate.
DUD3 is a public service free messenger that uses internet data with total privacy to send messages to anyone who also has the app installed, regardless of platforms. It registers a user''s license plate as their unique ID. Those who do not own a vehicle but need to reach out to a car-owner can also sign up by an account number provided to them.
The new app might prove to be a useful tool for drivers to alert each other of parking at a wrong spot or having left their lights on. It might also be a remedy for any frustration one feels finding a vehicle blocking their garage exit, or suffering by an ear-deafening alarm of a car left in their street. DUD3 provides a way for drivers to communicate without having to give out their personal data.
"It is like an insurance: you have it, but pray not having to use it and receive an alert," 2Mobile''s founder Joao Paulo said. "I think many users will download DUD3 only to receive alerts, others will use it as a new way of meeting people. It can also be a very useful tool, for example, for parking garages to notify their customers with."
Once a user is connected, DUD3 checks the contact list saved in their phone and identifies who among the list are fellow users. In addition to basic messaging, DUD3 users can create groups, send each other unlimited image messages as any everyday messengers do, broadcast messages and send text messages. The app is available for iPhone and Android.
