Handmade Treats Feature Seasonal, Farmer's Market Ingredients

To ensure that the dining experience always ends on a sweet note, the restaurant will be introducing handmade, themed desserts to the Sunday tradition.
Highlighting seasonal ingredients from local farmers and vendors, the sweet offerings revolve around a weekly theme to include decadent options such as California fruits, French-inspired pastries, an exclusive pie table showcasing a variety of flavors and a Tea Party Breakfast that features verbena mint chocolate tarts, passion fruit green tea cheesecake, chai panna cotta, jasmine shortbread and Earl Grey scones.
"We want to increase the quality and guest experience during our brunch presentation by using local products," Cast & Plow''s Executive Sous Chef Javier Bravo says.
In the past, Sunday brunch has highlighted a rich variety of desserts, including colorful carnival treats, California fruits, French-inspired pastries and specialty pies.
While Chef Bravo is the culinary mind behind the brunch menu, Pastry Chef Adina River-Schaefer brings her creativity to the dessert station and is known for her seasonal dessert menus and daily ice cream flavors.
