Courtyard Pune City Centre Partners With Several Foundations to Celebrate Daan Utsav

The festival saw both guests and associates participate whole-heatedly in and support the hotel in acts of philanthropy throughout the week.
On 6th October, this participated in ''Make like a Chef'', where Chefs from all the Marriott Pune properties taught four different healthy snacks to youth from IDEA Foundation and also talked about the job opportunities at Marriott hotels.
On 8th October, the Junior Sous Chef Akhilesh from Courtyard Pune City Centre visited the Hope for Children Foundation Centre and taught the women from their kitchen team to prepare simple, home-style and tasty dishes. This demo helped the ladies to improve their cooking skills which will help them increase their small but budding lunch catering business for corporates.
On 9th October, the associates at this Pune hotel donated blood for the blood bank of its neighbour -- Jehangir Hospital on Bund Garden Road.
Throughout the week of Daan Utsav, a Wish Tree was placed in the lobby of the hotel along with a ''Wishing Well'' where guests and associates donated donate clothes, books and toys. Funds raised through these efforts will be donated to Hope for Children Foundation.
