Chicago''s Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival Celebrates 30th Anniversary This June

(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 10/16/14 -- With tunes for nearly every taste, the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival returned to the Lakeview neighborhood for its 30th year this June.
From noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival featured 10 of the region''s top tribute bands covering everything from pop to rock to R&B to hip-hop. The event also featured kid-friendly music from School of Rock Chicago. Entry is at 3200 N. Sheffield, and the event stretched along North Sheffield from Belmont to Roscoe.
"This popular street party is a Lakeview summer favorite," said Jasko Omervic of Planned Property Management, which owns and manages numerous residential rentals in the area, including . "The Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival features some of the city''s most beloved bands, as well as a street fair with plenty of food, beverages, and arts and crafts."
This year''s music lineup included the hip-hop group MiLow & the 2nd Generation Pilots, the pop-rock tribute act Wedding Banned, the ''80s cover band Sixteen Candles, the Dave Matthews Band tribute Trippin'' Billies, the Led Zeppelin cover group Kashmir and more. A donation was suggested of $5 benefits the Central Lakeview Merchants Association.
