Audi allroad Achieves Highest Government Crash Safety Rating

Only vehicles that provide the greatest amount of crash protection and rollover safety beyond what is required by federal law are given the 5-Star rating. Vehicles are rated on a scale of one to five stars, one being the lowest rating and five being the highest.

Audi allroad combines functional practicality with premium off road design and quattro® all-wheel drive for diverse conditions. For the 2015 model year, enhancements have been made to the legendary vehicle, which returned to U.S. shores in 2013 after a seven year hiatus. The vehicle comes standard with Xenon headlights and LED taillights, as well as three-zone climate control and a power tailgate. The allroad features an anti-lock brake system and hydraulic brake assist, which automatically senses emergency braking and applies maximum available power boost to help reduce overall stopping distance. Available features include Audi side assist, which helps monitor blind spot areas as well as fast-approaching vehicles at a range of about 150 ft. to the rear of the car, and Audi adaptive cruise control, which uses long-range radar to measure the distance to the vehicle ahead and applies the brakes as necessary.
Under NHTSA''s New Car Assessment Program, vehicles undergo rigorous frontal, side barrier, pole intrusion and rollover tests. Instruments measure force of impact to various body regions on crash test dummies to determine a rating. 5-Star Safety Ratings can be found on and are posted on the Monroney labels (window stickers) that are required to be displayed on all new vehicles.
