A Boost for Arts and Culture in Southeastern New Brunswick
Government of Canada supports six arts and culture organizations
(firmenpresse) - GREATER MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK -- (Marketwired) -- 10/15/14 -- Robert Goguen, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Member of Parliament (Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe), today announced funding totalling $78,400 to be delivered over the next three years (2014-2017) to six organizations in southeastern New Brunswick. He made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Six projects will be carried out with the funding allocated under the Canada Arts Presentation Fund and the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program. These projects will offer residents and visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy time with family and friends and discover Acadian, Francophone, Scottish and Asian arts, culture and history.
The recipient organizations are the Societe historique de la mer rouge, the Galerie Sans Nom, the Centre des arts et de la culture de Dieppe, the Carnaval d''amitie d''hiver de Dieppe, the Greater Moncton Scottish Association, and the Greater Moncton Asian Heritage Association.
