Governor General Announces the President of the French Republic''s State Visit to Canada
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/15/14 -- Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will welcome His Excellency Francois Hollande, President of the French Republic, on the occasion of his State visit to Canada, from November 2 to 4, 2014.
"Sharon and I are truly pleased to welcome President Hollande on the occasion of his State visit to Canada," said the Governor General. "I look forward to discussing the relations between Canada and France, which are based on common values and history. It will also be an opportunity to pursue a dialogue on co-operation between our two countries, especially in the sectors of education, innovation and research."
