Chicago Craft Beer Festival Toasted Its 3rd Year
Planned Property Management Invites Lincoln Park Residents to Sample City's Finest Microbrews, Support Neighborhood Group
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 10/09/14 -- The Chicago Craft Beer Festival returned to the greater Lincoln Park neighborhood this past July 19 and 20, and this year visitors could sample more than 100 of the finest microbrews from the Windy City and across the country.
The Craft Beer Festival flowed from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20, with a private tasting area accessible from noon to 4 p.m. each day. The entry point was at 2200 N. Sheffield; admission to the festival area is free, but the tasting tent fees are $40 in advance for 15 tickets and $45 for 15 tickets the day of the event. Proceeds benefited the Sheffield Neighborhood Association.
"Chicago-area microbrewers have been producing some top-notch beers, and the Craft Beer Festival provides an opportunity to sample some of the best," said Jasko Omervic of Planned Property Management, which owns and maintains a number of residential rental properties in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, including . The 2014 Chicago Craft Beer Festival was held in conjunction with another popular community function, the Sheffield Garden Walk, which in its 46th year has grown to include more than 80 private gardens. As for the Craft Beer Festival itself, showcased brews this year come from Wisconsin''s Hinterland, Michigan''s Arcadia Ales, and Chicago''s own Revolution and Half Acre.
