Logistics Made in Germany
(PresseBox) - Germany has much to offer as a logistics hub: a central geographical location, excellent infrastructure, expert logistics service providers, and a wide range of logistics know-how. In order to bring these assets to the attention of a greater international audience and to represent the work of the Logistics Alliance Germany (LAG) initiative abroad, Parliamentary Secretary Dorothee Bär will be leading two overseas delegation trips this autumn.
The first, in October, will travel under Mrs. Bär''s leadership to Shenzhen and Hong Kong, China. The LAG will have an information stand (located at B1288-1293) and hold specialized events at the China (Shenzhen) International Logistics and Transportation Fair (CILF) from 14 - 16 October, one of the largest logistics trade fair in Asia. In addition, talks will be held with companies and organizations in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, with the objective of securing lasting partnerships between German logistics providers and Chinese companies exporting their products to Europe, and to increase Germany''s international profile as a logistics provider. Mrs. Bär will be accompanied by representatives from across the German logistics sector who have banded together as members for the development of the Logistics Alliance Germany (Förderverein Logistics Alliance Germany e.V.).
In November, Mrs. Bär and her delegation will travel to Turkey for Logitrans, where they will meet with companies and organizations in both Istanbul and Ankara. We look forward to meeting you at our Logitrans stand, located at Booth 307, Hall 10.
