Edwards Global Services, Inc. Names Michelle McClurg as Company''s First COO
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/08/14 -- Edwards Global Services, Inc. (EGS), a leading provider of services that assist U.S. franchises with global expansion, is pleased to announce that Michelle McClurg has been appointed COO, effective immediately.
Ms. McClurg will oversee the company''s day-to-day operations as EGS continues to expand its business as an outsourced international development department for U.S. franchisors via EGS'' global team of executives and associates in 32 countries.

Prior to assuming the role of COO, Ms. McClurg spent 30 years with AT&T, planning and executing new initiatives, process improvements and cost reductions. She has also provided project leadership for several other Fortune 100 companies, including IBM and Hewlett-Packard, and she has successfully directed global projects in more than 31 countries.
Ms. McClurg''s prior experience also includes working with several franchisors in their development and operations efforts. Holding such roles as director of franchise relations, Ms. McClurg planned and facilitated franchise training programs and domestic and international discovery days. She has managed the successful openings of multiple new franchise locations, being responsible for the design, development, and delivery of procedures, processes, forecasting and tracking of franchise resale programs and international franchise development programs.
Ms. McClurg has been the recipient of five National Excellence Awards for sales, client satisfaction, process improvements and cost initiatives, in addition to multiple regional and local commendations and awards. In 2013, Ms. McClurg earned her Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation.
