Ultra Broadband CPE Integrates With Home Networking Connectivity

(NASDAQ: JCS), announced the first MediaMAX™ wall-mounted CPE devices based around the new G.fast ultra-broadband standard. The solution includes a plastic modular enclosure system; high-speed, quick-connect copper connectivity; and an intelligent wall-plate system with built in -based G.fast modems for the fastest broadband access over phone lines ever conceived. The company also announced a G.fast DPU that supports up to 16 concurrent subscribers.

The Sckipio-based G.fast solution provides up to 1 Gbps of ultra-high speed broadband and is the most compact and energy-efficient G.fast solution. The innovative Suttle solution allows G.fast CPE devices to be mounted directly on the wall like a faceplate, which eliminates unsightly wires and bulky power supplies.
