Taste of Lincoln Avenue Returns for 31st Year With Massive Menu of Food, Music, More
Planned Property Management Encourages Lincoln Park Residents to Sample This Iconic Chicago Street Fair
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 10/07/14 -- Chicago is home to countless "taste of" festivals, but Taste of Lincoln Avenue, which returned July 26-27, is one of the city''s oldest and most popular.
Taste of Lincoln Avenue began 31 years ago as a small, neighborhood association fundraiser. This year, Taste of Lincoln Avenue will occupy six city blocks in the heart of the Lincoln Park area and host more than 250 vendors, including food from some of the region''s top restaurants.
"Taste of Lincoln features great food, but it isn''t just about the food," said Dan McDonough of Planned Property Management, which owns and manages a number of rental properties near Lincoln Park, including "There is always a stellar music lineup as well."
More than 40 musical acts are scheduled for the two-day event, including Gin Blossoms, Ryan Powers, Model Stranger, Super Happy Fun Club and Fletcher Rockwell. Taste of Lincoln Avenue also features a kids'' carnival and will take place in conjunction with the Lill Street Craft Fair.
Taste of Lincoln Avenue was scheduled for noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and 27; the main entry point is at Lincoln and Fullerton.
