Liberty Tax Service and its Founder and CEO John T. Hewitt have been named 2014 Small Business Influencers by Small Business Trends and SmallBizTechnology.com.
The honor is not the first for Hewitt, who was recognized as a Top 100 Influencer Champion for his ongoing commitment to identifying and developing small business owners. He was also recognized for this honor in 2011. The Top 100 Influencer Champions initially are identified during a social media campaign that includes members of the small business community. Those who receive the most votes are then judged by a panel of small business experts that chooses the Top 100.
Both Hewitt and Liberty Tax earlier this year were recognized as Top 5 Community Choice Honorees in the social media campaign conducted by Small Business Trends, an online publication, and SmallBizTechnology.com, a media company that produces online content.
