Opening the Doors to Halifax''s Heritage
Government of Canada supports the third annual Doors Open Halifax
(firmenpresse) - HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/06/14 -- The Government of Canada has provided funding of $8,900 under the program for the third annual Doors Open Halifax in 2015.
Gerald Keddy, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Revenue and for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Member of Parliament (South Shore-St. Margaret''s), announced this funding today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
With this investment, the Doors Open Halifax Heritage Society will present the Doors Open event in June 2015. The two-day event will feature musical performances, historical re-enactments and heritage presentations at 30 historic properties. More than 30,000 people are expected to participate.
