Teekay Tankers Ltd. Declares Dividend
(firmenpresse) - HAMILTON, BERMUDA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/03/14 -- Teekay Tankers Ltd. (Teekay Tankers) (NYSE: TNK) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.03 per share for the quarter ended September 30, 2014. The cash dividend is payable on October 31, 2014 to all shareholders of record as at October 17, 2014.

Teekay Tankers currently owns a fleet of 27 double-hull vessels, including 11 Aframax tankers, 10 Suezmax tankers, three Long Range 2 (LR2) product tankers, three Medium-Range (MR) product tankers and has four time charter-in Aframax tankers and four time charter-in LR2 product tankers. An affiliate of Teekay Corporation (NYSE: TK) manages these vessels through a mix of fixed-rate time-charter contracts and spot tanker market trading. The Company also owns a very large crude carrier (VLCC) through a 50 percent-owned joint venture. In addition, Teekay Tankers owns a minority interest in Tanker Investments Ltd. (Oslo Bors: TIL). Teekay Tankers was formed in December 2007 by Teekay Corporation as part of its strategy to expand its conventional oil tanker business.
