CphI 2014: Bormioli Rocco BU Pharma presents new concept „Pharma thinking“
(firmenpresse) - From7-9 October 2014, the world''s leading pharmaceutical networking event CphI will take place in Paris. The unique event gives international pharmaceutical companies, from producers of basic ingredients to manufacturers of packaging solutions, the possibility to meet face-to-face and connect.
Among the 2500 exhibitors, also Bormioli Rocco BU Pharma will participate and use the possibilty to stay informed about the latest industry trends and present their products that have been especially developed for the pharmaceutical industry. The new approach “Pharma thinking”, of Bormioli Rocco BU Pharma is fully dedicated to the pharma industry and includes research, development and innovative technologies to deliver the best products possible.
The leadership position of Bormioli Rocco is underpinned by the commitment to innovation and technological know-how, providing their customers with products matching the highest value, quality and safety standards. In addition, thanks to the strategic recent investments, Bormioli Rocco has significantly increased the production in terms of both quality and output volumes and expanded the product portfolio.
This has recently been implemented with a three-years investment plan of over 75 million euros, to be invested in both plastic and glass pharmaceutical facilities.
The plan includes a new furnace for the production of borosilicate glass at the plant in San Vito (PN, Italy), the full refurbishment of all existing furnaces (both moulded and tubular) as well as line upgrades, that include the installation of high performance production machines and innovative inspection systems. Another main focus is on new inspection machines, automisation and the consistent expansion of clean room production.
These changes will in particular improve the innovative and cost-effective solutions Delta, CRC and ophthalmic packaging, the most important flagship products in Bormioli Rocco’s production for the pharmaceutical industry which will also be presented during the CphI fair in October.
