Local Arts Festival Brings Culture and Community Together in the Comox Valley

Government of Canada provides funding to the Comox Valley Community Arts Council

(firmenpresse) - CUMBERLAND, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/01/14 -- Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada has provided the Comox Valley Community Arts Council with $6,500 in funding through the program for the 9th Local Colours Festival of Arts and Culture.This free community festival will include a showcase of works produced by local artists, as well as musical and First Nations performances.

The Honourable John Duncan, Minister of State and Member of Parliament (Vancouver Island North), announced this support today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
