Government of Canada supports Festi-neige de Campbellton Sno-Fest

The annual Festi-neige de Campbellton Sno-Fest will once again brighten the winter days for residents and visitors to Campbellton.
The Government of Canada is providing $18,100 in funding for the 2015 Festi-neige de Campbellton Sno-Fest through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program.
The Honourable Bernard Valcourt, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development and Member of Parliament (Madawaska-Restigouche), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
The Festi-neige de Campbellton Sno-Fest Committee will present the 15th edition of its festival from February 19 to 22, 2015. Festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of activities, including musical performances by local artists and tours of the historic Athol House. The festival will also feature Mi''gmaw cultural dancing and storytelling, an art exhibit, and artisan demonstrations. About 225 local artists, artisans, and heritage presenters will take part in the festival.
