HARTING wins over railway customers with innovative M12 PushPull solution
Easy-to-handle connectors / low spatial requirements
(PresseBox) - Players in the railway sector are opting for lower currents and are increasingly relying on HARTING''s innovative and proven signal transmission technology in internal space applications. The pressure of safety demands made on train technology is also resulting in greater use of connectors that are easy to handle and service-friendly. A high level of vibration resistance is a key criterion here. The end position of the locking device must always be clearly identifiable. The system must be compatible with the device side to enable the standard M12 with screw locking to be used on the cable side.
The M12 PushPull solution represents an entirely new HARTING technology in this sector and features a M12 connector on the cable-side based on HARTING''s M12 SlimDesign. The result is a M12 connector with PushPull locking that audibly clicks in and makes handling in the field much easier.
The device-side housing can accommodate a standard M12 connector with screw locking as well as the HARTING M12 PushPull. It is easy and intuitive to use. Torque does not need to be taken into account to ensure secure contact. Less space is required as the connector does not have to be twisted to be locked and unlocked. These are genuine USPs benefiting our railway customers.
