Investing in the 100th Anniversary of the Listowel Agricultural Hall
Government of Canada supports commemoration of building used for military training during the First World War
(firmenpresse) - LISTOWEL, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/25/14 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada has provided $8,800 to the Listowel Agricultural Society through the Legacy Fund of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program.
Gary Schellenberger, Member of Parliament (Perth-Wellington), announced the funding today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Funding supports the installation of a commissioned sculpture and a commemorative bench, as well as minor renovations to the interior of the Hall.
