Leo Johnson has joined as the Chief Financial Officer and Simon Yang, Ph.D. has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering. In Johnson''s role with the company, he will continue to streamline processes and maximize efficiencies within all financial protocols while overseeing revenue and operational expansion for immediate and long-term strategies. Yang''s role will focus on structuring global product development engineering functions, the conceptualizing and management of simultaneous projects, and delivering designs to agreed specifications within time and budget.

Mr. Johnson brings over 30 years of executive leadership skills and building various high technology companies to Airgain. Previously working as the interim CFO for nearly two years, Mr. Johnson has been a key financial decision-maker while the company experienced significant revenue growth and global expansion. His strategic financial direction has helped lead the company through record revenue and shipment growth while guiding the company through a dynamically changing wireless market. "Airgain has seen multiple years of strong operational and financial increases," said Mr. Johnson, commenting on his recent appointment. Continuing to build upon Airgain''s growth with his unique experience, Mr. Johnson has worked extensively with companies of different sizes and stages. Previously, he held several financial positions at Verisign, Inc., including director of finance, a position he held since 2003. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Johnson served as CFO at Planning Technologies, Inc., a professional services company focused on network infrastructure and architecture that was acquired by Red Hat Inc.
With 30 years of executive experience in successful hardware engineering and product development, Dr. Yang has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering. He is responsible for Airgain''s overall technology strategy from initial R&D to final production and manufacturing. Dr. Yang has lead successful cross-functional teams across multiple countries by developing business strategies in the fields of embedded electronics, consumer electronics, and wireless communications. Overseeing full product cycle developments for the company, he has led his teams to produce the highest quality embedded antenna products that ensure peak performance for customer devices. Before joining Airgain in 2005, Dr. Yang was the Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO Australia, Senior Manager of Engineering at CeLight, Inc., and held a management position at Lumera Corporation.
