Grässlin GmbH announces investments in R&D and Product Marketing
Strengthening its Engineering and Product teams in St. Georgen, Germany to better serve customers
(PresseBox) - Grässlin - a manufacturer of energy control solutions located in the Black Forest - announced that it is making investments in its Research & Development, Engineering and Product Marketing teams in Germany to meet growing demand from its OEM and Distribution customers around the world. Grässlin is part of the Intermatic, Inc. companies. Intermatic, headquartered in the United States, relies on Grässlin''s German engineering competencies for its HVAC product lines in North America. Intermatic is a manufacturer of electronic controls, including time switches that allow businesses and residences to improve their energy efficiency and security.
Rick Boutilier, CEO and President of Intermatic, Inc., announced the increased focus on Engineering and Product Marketing resources at Grässlin because of the growing demand of energy controls, security solutions and efficiency solutions in markets throughout the world.
In 2013 Grässlin consolidated its Technology department back to the Black Forest, making a clear commitment to the location, German engineering and strengthening of the Grässlin head quarter. Grässlin''s factory in Peterzell is a main production facility, and the Intermatic and Grässlin manufacturing portfolio includes locations in Juarez, Mexico. Furthermore, Intermatic and Grässlin have sales and supply chain offices throughout the world to meet customer demand.
Both Grässlin and Intermatic are convinced that these measures will promote the innovation and the quality of the Grässlin products so requirements and demands of the supplied markets can be further exceeded in the future.
Founded in 1956 as family enterprise in the heart of the Black Forest, today Grässlin counts among the leading international companies for time switch technology, light and temperature control as well as tariff time switches. In over 50 countries Grässlin sells more than 1.500 products and thus reaches an export level of well over 80%.
Since June 2007, Grässlin belongs to the US family-owned company Intermatic. The company, which can look back on a remarkable tradition itself, counts among the world''s leading manufacturers of energy control systems as well as professional lighting. Intermatic Inc. is known as one of the world''s largest producers of time switch technology with more than 600 employees at 4 locations.
