Services for safety, quality and interoperability for railway companies / Major partnership with China South Rail announced
(PresseBox) - TÜV Rheinland AG, a global top ten technical service provider, offers railway technology services for safety, quality and interoperability to customers worldwide. A growing market for these services is the People?s Republic of China. During a ceremony at the InnoTrans 2014 rail trade show in Berlin, Germany, TÜV Rheinland signed a major partnership with China South Rail.
The partnership covers training of CSR staff as well as the provision of manpower: TÜV Rheinland will certify approximately 42,000 welders working for China South Rail, and will re-certify them regularly over the next years. China South Rail, on the other hand, will provide manpower to TÜV Rheinland in China, namely non-destructive testing (NDT) training technicians for projects acquired by TÜV Rheinland China in the domestic market.
China South Rail also has the interest to expose their services to the European market and plans to do so in cooperation with TÜV Rheinland.
