Media Advisory: Governor General to Participate in Opening Ceremonies of Canadian Museum for Human Rights
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/18/14 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will take part in the opening ceremonies of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Friday, September 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. CDT. The Governor General, who is patron of the Museum, will deliver remarks on this occasion.
The CMHR is the first museum in the world solely dedicated to the evolution, celebration and future of human rights. It is the first national museum in Canada to be built outside the National Capital Region. Using immersive multimedia technology and other innovative approaches, the Museum will create inspiring encounters with human rights as part of a visitor experience unlike any other.
