(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 09/16/14 -- ComedySportz Theatre plays host not just to the famous show in the name, but to many other comedy shows so that there''s something to see at the venue most nights. Shows range from the family-friendly to those recommended for mature audiences only.
ComedySportz is not a sports comedy show, but an actual comedy competition where two teams of comedians battle to make you laugh. Other shows currently running include the 100 Proof Stand-Up Comedy (followed by the Chaser open mic), and Hot Karl, an improv show for mature audiences.
ComedySportz Theatre in Lakeview has been the home of the ComedySportz show since 2007. Before that, the show with its unique format of a comedy improv competition was performed at many venues in the area, including Clybourn Station and The Congress Hotel.
