Treatment Facility Continues to Enhance Staff With Addition of Rich Appert as Director of Intake

Vinck, MC, LPC, NCC, to the position of chief clinical officer. Rich Appert also joins the facility as director of intake.
Practicing psychotherapy in Arizona for more than ten years, Vinck is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. In addition to developing and maintaining a successful private practice in Scottsdale, Vinck is the founder of Hoofprints to Healing™ an Equine Psychotherapy program targeted at addressing the emotions underlying addiction.
Appert''s experience in the behavioral health admissions has included management positions at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches and Seaside Palm Beach in Southern Florida. He has developed successful systems in admissions, alumni teams and insurance departments, and has collaborated with managed care companies to advocate for patients.

Before joining Sierra Tucson, Vinck''s professional career included working with a variety of treatment programs serving as dual residential therapist, family education therapist, outpatient services director and corporate clinical director. She continues to teach in the Master of Counseling Program at Grand Canyon University as an adjunct faculty member. Before Appert''s move to the West Coast, he started a nonprofit that helped install recreational facilities in Palm Beach county parks. Appert received his B.A. from Rutgers University and worked in financial services before moving into behavioral health.
