KELLER is consistently extending the system of the KELLER minimal windows® series by fixed lights for use between two floors of a building. The Luxembourgian specialist for sliding windows and façade systems presents its latest innovation in the KELLER minimal windows® highline series. The new system is characterised by all-round concealed outer frames, whose vertical division is fixed by extremely narrow junction profiles and / or design post profiles.
(firmenpresse) - The result is large glass fields of floor-to-ceiling fixed glazing with integrated, slender, design sliding doors and sliding windows. That guarantees the loveliest views. The puristic design of the extremely narrow profile faces allows optimum enjoyment of the panorama.
The almost frameless KELLER minimal windows® highline glass façade can be implemented as a flush-mounted glass front and offset fixed glazing, wherein sliding leaves can optionally be positioned recessed in the inner track.
Modern architecture is characterised by large, floor-to-ceiling fixed and sliding windows. Obstacle-free construction provides for complete freedom from barriers and increased incidence of light.
Apart from its design and technical sophistication, the premium system façade impresses with outstanding thermal insulation and very good system properties. For example, at the customer’s request the sliding doors and windows from KELLER minimal windows® highline can be advantageously equipped with concealed automatic drive and locking hardware for maximum operating comfort.
The exclusive KELLER minimal windows® highline window façade system thus combines innovative design and a great many individual configuration options with architectural freedom. Attention is focussed on the reduction of visible structures and the integration of technical/functional elements.
System propertiesandadvantages
• Complete integration of the thermally isolated, peripheral frame profiles in the floor, wall and ceiling; 2-track system configurationComplete integration of the all-round, thermally isolated frame profiles into the floor, wall and ceiling is possible.
• Mitred, all-round outer frame provided with 34 mm insulation bars per track with screwed corner connectors.
• Self-centring, dual-track, stainless steel castors integrated in the leaf and guided by high-alloyed, dual-track, thermally isolated, stainless steel running rails of the lower outer frame profile.
• Substructure with PVC hollow-chamber drainage integrated in the system for support of the weight and controlled drainage in a downward direction. Substructure profile with holding groove for EPDM film connection.
• Stability of the sliding system tested under extreme wind loads with a nominal load of 2,000 Pa (approx. 200 km/h) and a peak load of 3,000 Pa (approx. 250 km/h; with brief gusts of wind) in accordance with EN12210 and the classification C5.
• Maximum transparency and greatest possible incidence of light due to frontal views of as little as 21 mm in the central profile
• Outstanding heat insulation with Uw values of less than 0.80 W/m² K
• Innovative rail solution for large leaf loads of up to 1,000 kg
• Glass thicknesses of up to 56 mm are usable (triple-insulated glazing, special glass)
• New, concealed drive and locking system – fast, noiseless and comfortable opening and closing
• All electric components can be networked with commercially available home automation systems.
