Incorporation of the latest technology for Automatic Passenger Counting Systems (APC) will allow TSO Mobile to continue its use and promise to customers of providing the latest state of art technology to ensure maximum efficiency.
The Automatic Passenger Counting system developed by Urban Transportation Associates, Inc. consists of proven successful hardware, software and support procedures that will serve to compliment TSO Mobile’s existing system. The use of this system will allow TSO Mobile to produce quantifiable benefits and view improved service, productivity, improved service quality and up to date, highly accurate information as provided by UTA.
“The integration between the two technologies allows information in the APC’s to be transmitted on the wireless network with the AVL and GPS data. TSO Mobile will be taking part in the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) triennial Expo October 13-15, 2014, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
