The company's retail showrooms in Derby, Guildford and Nottingham will be hosting special events from October 10-12 to celebrate. Guests will be treated to a cinematic experience, with screenings of a number of short films, specially-commissioned by Lexus, along with drinks and canapés. The events will also offer people the opportunity to take a closer look at the brand-new Lexus NX, with its contemporary styling that simply demands attention.
A striking front grille, narrow LED headlights and bold contours that sweep across the diamond-shaped body all point towards the NX's agility and power. Designed to seat five people in total comfort, the NX boasts exceptional interior space and luxury. Five trim levels are available, along with a huge array of options, such as a panoramic roof, premium navigation system and LED daytime running lights. Use of cutting-edge technology is in evidence everywhere, from the Smart Entry system and auto-dimming interior mirror to the model's numerous safety features such as parking sensors and Lexus' Lane Keep Assist technology.
With its 2.5-litre, full hybrid engine, this compact SUV delivers plenty of power when it's required. Is also capable of near-silent running, as well as incredible efficiency, offering up to 56.5mpg combined and CO2 emissions as low as 116g/km.
Laura Simpson, Marketing Manager, said: "Judging by the extremely positive reaction the NX received during its UK debut at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in July, we're expecting plenty of interest when the crossover makes its official grand entrance in October.
"These special events planned for our Guildford, Derby and Nottingham showrooms will give people the chance to be among the first in the UK to get up close and personal with the all-new Lexus NX. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover more about the features that give the vehicle such a commanding presence, exciting sports handling and the total flexibility expected of a contemporary SUV."
Members of the Inchcape Lexus team will be on hand at all of the launch events in October to answer questions on the NX line-up.
