Always an eagerly-awaited highlight, the Adrenalin Cup 2014/15 will once again feature ten superb disciplines, everything from the giant slalom to the adrenalin jump. There is also a superb line-up of top events planned for the new season, including the Ski World Cup Opening, Electric Mountain Festival (EMF) and the ever-popular Hannibal spectacular.

Old becomes new: 6-seater Wasserkar lift

The brand new state-of-the-art Wasserkar chairlift near the Gaislachkoglbahn is now even longer and better than before. Replacing an outdated 3-seater chairlift built in 1986, this brand new 6-seater lift has a weather protection hood and automatic locking restraining bar. The valley station has also moved around 560 metres further down the valley and a new piste has been created. It now takes just 5.29 minutes to climb 575 metres.

Ski holidays in Sölden 2015

Piste 30 from the Rettenbach glacier down to the Stabelebahn chairlift is also being extended and a ski underpass built under the glacier road. That means no more tedious road crossing to spoil your Sölden 2015 skiing holiday, with extensive earthworks opening up the existing bottleneck below the toll station from around 8 metres to 13 metres.

Snow conditions in the ski area around Rosskirpl will also be improved for your Sölden 2015 skiing holiday. Adaptations to existing snow-making facilities, including the use of a number of snow guns during the winter, will mean the black run can open earlier for public skiing.The Sölden mountain railway companies are investing around 10 million euros in developing the ski area for the winter season 2014/2015.
