(firmenpresse) - The cost of surrogacy and surrogate mothers in India is always a rough estimate. Unlike buying some service where a cost is fixed, in the case of surrogacy, the actual cost might differ slightly with the initial estimate or you could have a major difference.
The current estimate is $30,000 and it includes everything from consultation to accommodation. However, if there are any emergencies, the costs could escalate. While it is true that emergencies are rare and chances of it are reduced due to extensive pre-screening, emergencies can and do occur and therefore it is best to be prepared.

Initial payments
No matter which India Surrogacy clinic you go to, there will always be an initial down-payment. Typically, it is about a third of the total fees. You would generally be asked to make half i.e. roughly $5,000 at the time of requesting for the surrogacy service and another equal amount at time of obtaining a medical visa.
