‘The Worthy Collection’ Collaborates With Charity Organization ‘Breath of Hope’ For Fundraising Campaign
The Worthy Collection, a New York based company has joined hands with a charity organization, Breath of Hope for awareness of the congenital diaphragmatic hernia birth defect campaign.
(firmenpresse) - June 18, 2014: ‘The Worthy Collection’ and ‘Breath of Hope,’ have come together to raise the awareness of the Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) birth defect. The campaign will be released on June1st and last till June 30th. This is an apparel fundraiser by ‘The Worthy Collection’ where $5 from each “T Shirts for a Cause” item purchased would be donated to the charity.
A congenital diaphragmatic hernia is an opening in the diaphragm (the large dome-shaped muscle that separates the chest cavity from the abdomen.) The hole allows the abdominal organs to push into the chest cavity. CDH is a life-threatening birth defect because it limits the growth of the lungs.Breath of Hope, Inc. is committed to educating the public and spreading awareness about this often fatal birth defect.
When contacted, a spokesperson from ‘The Worthy Collection’ said, “Through this campaign we are supporting the CDH awareness amongst parents and families together with ‘Breath of Hope” whose aim is to acknowledge the fact that this birth defect still needs more education, awareness and more research to improve the survival rates, to lessen the residuals survivors and their families endure.” He further added, “Our aim is to make a movement all through the world with the help of our charity-influenced apparel. Our collection is prepared with a business model that supports charity.”
