- VancoWinter 2 - the van specialist
- Safe, robust and economical
Anyone looking to transport passengers or freight in winter needs to know they can depend on their tires. The VancoWinter 2 from Continental is fully compliant with the high demands in terms of safety, robustness and economy. This specialist van tire bears not only the M+S mark, showing that it is officially approved for winter use, but also the snowflake symbol to document its genuine winter-proof capabilities.
VancoWinter 2: Professional levels of grip for safe van travel in winter
In the VancoWinter 2 the developers have brought about a further marked improvement in safety. The tire has an intelligent sipe concept that brings together various different sipes and puts their respective strengths to best use. The shoulders of the tire feature sinusoidal sipes while the tread ribs have scale-like sipes. This remarkable technical feature teams up with a special winter tire compound to enable car-like handling and short stopping distances on snow and ice. With its striking 3-groove tread with wide drainage channels, this tire can take up and disperse large amounts of water and slush. The VancoWinter 2 also turns in an impressive performance in terms of economy: Its flat contour makes for a wide contact patch and even tire wear. And its hard-wearing scuff protection strip helps prevent curb damage.
Depending on tire size, the VancoWinter 2 is designed for speeds of up to 210 km/h. There are versions available for 14-17 inch rims and in widths of between 165 and 235 mm.
