G&D at Broadcast Asia 2014

(PresseBox) - In Singapore, it's not only possible to experience almost the entire world of Asia in one place; it also unites the entire world of broadcast under one roof. Singapore will host Asia's leading event for the pro-audio, film and TV industries from 17 - 20 June 2014. Every year, Broadcast Asia surprises their visitors with the latest trends within the industry, among them the ones of German Guntermann & Drunck.
New dimensions in 4K
Broadcast Asia is regarded as Asia's leading event for the pro-audio, film and TV industries. Its 4-day programme promises a great event and an even greater chance for networking. Last year, Guntermann & Drunck & Drunck (G&D) already took the chance to present their KVM portfolio along with the latest developments. This year, they followed the call for new dimensions and offer a KVM extension for 4K resolutions.
The DL-Vision-MC2 transmits Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at full frame rate (60 Hz). Thanks to the 4K resolution many application processes can be displayed simultaneously on a single large format display. To guarantee computer-free workstations despite using the latest technology, staff from editing studios, CAD and 3D studios profits from the ability of the DL-Vision KVM extenders to transmit even Ultra HD at full frame rate (60 Hz). With the help of KVM, users have direct access to their computers yet benefit from computer-free, silent workstations, which make it easy to become creative.
When small becomes large
The latest and smallest of the ControlCenter-Digital variants will make its first appearance in the smallest country of Southeast Asia. Its 80 dynamic ports can be connected either as computer or as user port. With the dynamic matrix, users can operate multiple computers from multiple workstations. Which type of module is connected is automatically detected by the ControlCenter-Digital. The system supports CAT cables and fibre optics even in mixed mode. An integrated 2048-bit RSA encrypted Trusted Platform Module (TPM) protects any access and configuration data against exposure.

Always a little bit more
To develop solutions fitting the most diverse industries and applications, G&D puts its customers' requirements first. But that's not enough for the KVM pioneers. G&D offers the following free services:
- loaned equipment
- consulting and planning of complex KVM installations
- technical customer service
- three years of warranty
- and many more
To meet the growing requests of the Asian region, G&D is looking for qualified system integrators who identify with the quality made in Germany and want to offer their customers added value.
