Partnership to target the market for NFC-enabled mobile payments
German technology services provider valuephone and electronic payment systems provider VeriFone have announced a partnership to target the mobile payment market on basis of Near Field Communications (NFC) technology. VeriFone integrates the valuephone System in its NFC-compatible hybrid-terminal H5000.
(firmenpresse) - Berlin/Bad Hersfeld (Germany), April 15, 2014: German technology services provider valuephone and electronic payment systems provider VeriFone have announced a partnership to target the mobile payment market on basis of Near Field Communications (NFC) technology. VeriFone integrates the valuephone System in its NFC-compatible hybrid-terminal H5000. The new terminal H5000 is the next generation of the payment terminal „Artema” is the mostly used payment terminal in Germany at present.
This cooperation enables every retailer, to offer its customer the valuephone services Mobile Couponing and Mobile Payment with NFC smart phones and the NFC payment terminal H5000 from VeriFone. VeriFone’s payment terminal is the ideal device for mobile loyalty activities due to its high speed and flexibility in processing. Now, in cooperation with valuephone, the mobile payment offering with VeriFone-Terminals are enlarged with additional mobile customer services like the established valuephone offers of mobile couponing and mobile payment as well as retention programs of collecting credit points or loyalty-cards, which can be processed with the comfortable NFC-technology.
